The annual Laois Walks festival will hold its 19th festival in 2021, and we are moving to the month of June, with the first walk on the Public Holiday Monday the 1st of June . We will again have 27 walks starting in 27 locations. A festival ticket is great value for €30, or €3 per walk.
Family Walks & Looped Walks
We will again have Family walks, and all our walks are looped and on your return back you will share as a group in light refreshments. The walks include bog trails, Canal and River bank trails, woodland and grassland trails, mountain loops and quite rural roads. The mix of routes and location will give the walker a great chance to view and see all the charms of the county of Laois. Every year over 2000 walkers take part in the festival during the month and they also get to see and enjoy a number of heritage sites that are on the routes of the loops. So make your plans and come out and enjoy Lovely Laois.
