Mimo and her husband, Seamus live in Portarlington, Co. Laois.  We are passionate about all things Chili. At the moment we are producing 4 products for sale.  3 of the Chili sauces are the same flavor with varying degrees of hotness.  All the sauces are over 55% chilies and we use prime ingredients.  The shelf life for these are 24 months.  Surprisingly, sales have been the same across the board for all 3 sauces.  We have a new addition of an Apple Chili Sage Jam and the shelf life for the jam is 18 months.  Further recipes are under development for new products.

 

O'Mimo's Good Globe Pantry registered with the CRO  in February of 2020 and was inspected/approved and registered with the HSE in March 2020.  We operate from a commercial standard kitchen in our home.

 

O'Mimo's Chili Madness is supplied locally to Al's Fish Shop (Al has 1 wall in his shop dedicated to Irish Artisan Food), Portarlington; Village Coffee, Ballybrittas; Firecastle, Kildare; Grape&Bean, Portlaoise and Abbeyleix;  Portlaoise Farmers Market on Fridays and Solas, Farmers market in Portarlington on Saturdays.

 

We source locally as much as we can and would like to further expand buying local ingredients where possible.  Our intention is to grow locally and expand further afield in the coming months.  The local artisan food products have a growing market in Ireland and worldwide and we want to be part of promoting the best there is to offer and be part of the food and drink community in Ireland.
