The Cottage Market Mountrath is an initiative of Mountrath Community Forum. We love to multitask so it is both a market and a fundraiser. All the money generated by the Cottage Market Mountrath go toward funding Mountrath Community Forum projects in the town to benefit the community.

The Cottage Market Mountrath have a good mix of fantastic homemade, homegrown and hand crafted food, art and crafts on offer and given the ‘have a go’ ethos we live by so enthusiastically, you never know what you might find each time you visit!
There are regular marketeers, now and again marketeers and totally random ‘didn’t know they were coming today’ marketeers.
They are a bit eclectic, a little bonkers and totally welcoming!
Our marketeers and customers are the families, friends and neighbours from in and around the area of Mountrath with visitors and passersby dropping in to see what’s going on.
