International touring Galway based DJ Shampain brings an Irish silent cinema classic ‘Irish Destiny’ back to life with a new soundtrack, mixed live as the film is screened in Dunamaise. Released in 1926 to mark the tenth anniversary of the 1916 Rising, ‘Irish Destiny’ is a dramatic re-telling of Ireland’s struggle for independence. DJ Shampain’s takes on silent cinema has gained traction on a wider scale and is a truly unique audio visual experience.
