Free Harp Lessons at Abbeyleix Library
18th May - 14th June
FreeTo celebrate Crinniú na nÓg, the library is hosting harp workshops with Siobhan Buckley. Learn basic techniques and find your way around the harp playing tunes you will recognise. Through different musical games, we will work around the coloured strings which will help embed the patterns into muscle memory, so no musical knowledge or harping experience is required. The project will culminate with a performance of what we’ve been working on over the weeks, so bring enthusiasm and open minds to make music together. Suitable for boys and girls from age seven upwards, places are limited so booking is essential.
