The monthly Farmer’s Market returns to SOLAS in Portarlington
Fresh produce, vibrant colours and artisanal goodies will be found at the SOLAS Eco Garden Centre as the Farmers Market returns on a monthly basis. Taking place on the last Saturday of every month, visitors can expect to see a full array of products available with a wonderful range of bakery, fresh meat, fish and organic beef. As always, the market focuses on those trading with fresh, local and organic goods. The event will take place from 11 am-3 pm.
While you’re there, why not take a look around SOLAS itself? Built on an old derelict site from disused shipping containers and recycled materials, this spot is one of a kind! Sitting along the Dublin Roadd in Portarlington, Solas Garden Shop offers an extensive range of plants and flowers and experts to help you with any gardening queries you might have!
With over 15 stalls selling local Laois produce at the upcoming market, from organic fruits and veggies to artisanal cheeses and homemade treats, there will be something for everyone!
