Everyone is welcome to join us as we sing for alzheimer’s/dementia, accompanied by musicians from Men’s Shed Portlaoise. Singing for the Brain brings people affected by Alzheimer’s together to sing a variety of songs they know and love, in a fun and friendly environment. Research suggests that listening to or singing songs can provide emotional and behavioural benefits for people with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia.
