
The much-loved Leaves Festival returns to Laois this week, bringing an inspiring blend of literature, music and conversation to venues across the county

Step into a week of creativity and connection as the Leaves Literary Festival welcomes some of Ireland’s most celebrated voices. This year’s programme offers something for every reader and culture lover, spanning crime, memoir, romance and short stories.
Audiences can look forward to thought-provoking talks, intimate readings and atmospheric evenings of music, film and song, featuring an outstanding line-up including Kíla, Miriam O’Callaghan, Steve Wickham of The Waterboys, and many more.
Curated by Marina Rafter, and presented by Laois Arts Office, Laois Chamber Alliance and Laois Library Services, the festival continues to celebrate the best of Irish writing and performance, right here in the heart of Laois.
