The Vanbrugh & The Spero Quartet

Two fine groups come together for this exciting double bill. The Spero Quartet play Mozart’s dazzling D major quartet K.499 and Garth Knox’s brilliantly inventive ‘Satellites’ and for the second half of the concert, they join the Vanbrugh for Tchaikovsky’s epic string sextet Souvenir de Florence.




In a time of superstition and magic, a young apprentice hunter, Robyn Goodfellowe, journeys to Ireland with her father to wipe out the last wolf pack.

Big Tree Players – A Wake in the West

The play takes place at Tom Healy's wake after he has died from alcoholism and has asked to be cremated and to have his ashes scattered at sea in order to have a watery grave. When a neighbour determines that Tom isn't allowed to take it all with him, the comedy starts."


CAOIN by Ceara Conway

Ceara Conway has gained recognition for her singing in traditional repertoires across cultures from Irish traditional sean-nós, to Portuguese, Arabic and African song and Georgian Chant. The essence of her music is its unique hybridity, a merging of her love and respect for tradition coupled with her interest in new styles, genres and contemporary music.

Brú Theatre present Selvage

Dunamaise is delighted to welcome Brú Theatre Company to spend a few days of technical rehearsals here in advance of their national tour. They will take part in theatre workshops with Laois Youth Theatre members as well as a post-show discussion around the themes of the show and positive mental health awareness.
