Róisín will be hauling trains during the St Patrick’s Day weekend on Friday March 18th and Sunday March 20th from 12-4pm both days.

A new festival has been launched in Laois, to celebrate the rich history of aviation and exploration in the county.
The Festival of Flight will run from the 7th to the 10th of April, with music events, arts and science workshops, history talks and films.

Tickets are sold on the day at the station before boarding.
Prices are €18 for a family, €7 for adults, €3 for kids and under 5s are free and we take card or cash .
We’ll also have two steam traction engines on display in the yard so you can get up and close to learn more about these wonderful, historic machines .

To Celebrate Earth Day 2022 we are running a series of FREE events over the coming weekend.

Teenager Ruby is a CODA (a child of deaf adults). Her life revolves around acting as interpreter for her family and working on their struggling fishing boat every day before school. When she discovers a gift for singing, Ruby is torn between the obligations she feels to her family and the pursuit of her own dreams.
