Werewolves of Ossory Exhibit at Abbeyleix Heritage House

28th October @ 4:30 pm - 7:15 pm

Abbeyleix Heritage House are  happy to announce the details of our upcoming Halloween event, the Werewolves of Ossory Exhibit!
This Halloween, our museum will be presenting an exhibition on the ancient stories and folklore surrounding werewolves in Ireland. The 40 minute event will include a short movie that tells the stories from ancient Irish manuscripts, which contain many ancient legends of werewolves. The exhibit will then have a short storytelling session, where our curator will tell the story of modern werewolf traditions, and answer any questions you might have surrounding their folklore. You will then be free to wander around the decorated halls of our museum, where you can read more facts, trivia and stories about the origins of werewolves in Ireland, Europe and many other ancient cultures.
The event will run for 3 days, from Thursday the 28th of October to Saturday the 30th of October at 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30. Booking is essential, as times and places are limited.
Tickets to this event are €7 per person. Groups of 4 or more people may enter for €5 euro. Bookings can be made through email at heritagehouseabbeyleix@gmail.com or by phone, at (057) 873 1653.
