Laois PPN are delighted announce a Tour Round the Tower 2024. Timahoe Round tower is one of the finest examples of a Round Tower in Ireland. The tour of the early Christian site at Timahoe with its 12th Century Round Tower will be led by local guide Local Guide Roghan Headen. Step back in time to learn how Timahoe Round Tower was a beacon for a once-thriving monastic community, and now proudly overlooks a peaceful village green. Following the tour there will be complimentary tea/coffee and sweet treats for attendees at Timahoe Heritage Centre.
