The Cult of Saint Abban

€3Dr Ellen Ganly. PhD in medieval Irish studies will talk to us on the Cult of Saint Abban. The paper considers the life and cult of early medieval Irish saint named Abban. This saint founded many churches and monasteries throughout Ireland, the primary ones being Kilabban in Laois and Adamstown in Wexford.
