Night 7 of the 2025 Mountmellick Drama Festival will see Sliabh Aughty Drama Group entertain us with their production of “Dancing at Lughnasa” by Brian Friel. Sliabh Aughty Drama Group was formed in 1989 in Mount Shannon Co Clare. The group has performed regularly on the festival circuit with plays like ‘Power of Darkness’, ‘I Do Not Like Thee Doctor Fell’ and more recently ‘Unforgiven’ ‘Sive’ and ‘Moonglow’ & ‘Same Old Moon’, all of which competed in the Al Ireland finals.
