Sing Up For Science is an event for both music and science lovers! Enjoy fun, popular tunes from MC Claire O’Connell.
Join like-minded music and science lovers at Laois Libraries for a free concert with MC Claire O’Connell, singing along to popular tunes and learning the science of music along the way. Don’t hesitate to come on down. Bring your family, friends and have a night you won’t forget.
Sing Up For Science
Join Midlands Science and the fantastic Bohemian String Quartet for an evening of music. Sit back and enjoy a range of popular tunes, movie themes and classical hits with MC Claire O’Connell, a science communicator and music fan. Between tunes, we’ll hear a little about why we all love music so much, what happens in our brain when we listen to music and how we can use music to help us when we are feeling stressed. So come along to this free concert and learn a little about the science of music, while you sing along with your favourite tunes.
