Sightless Cinema presents Blind Panic
In its ninth successful year, Sightless Cinema is a collaborative arts project for people with sight loss to devise and produce audio theatre, led by director Ciarán Taylor.
Close your eyes, if you dare! Blind Panic is a mixed programme of short thrillers, hauntings and strange scratching in the cupboard. The immersive surround sound audio plays are a feast for the imagination – because all the pictures are in your head.
Optional blindfolds are provided to help bring you into the world of Sightless Cinema.
- Ashis set in a country lodge guest house during a thunder storm which brings on strange happenings, and consequences for all the guests.
- Horse and No Jockey is a madcap comic mystery, which sees a blind weekend away go off the rails, as more than the bags get mixed up.
- In The Visitor, Laura returns from a horror film at the cinema, to make an unsettling discovery in the old house she’s just moved into.
