Protestant and Irish

Join us in Abbeyleix Library for what will be a very interesting history talk entitled Protestant and Irish. Ida is a historian interested in the history of infectious diseases in the 19th and 20th century from a global as well as Irish perspective, and of southern Irish Protestant identity. Ian is an active history scholar, publishing widely on southern Irish unionism and Protestanism, ‘Big House’ historical and literary themes, and the nature of Irish loyalism.
