Laois Walks Festival Wooden Bridge to Newtown Mill

Join us for a unique 7km heritage walk through the scenic and historically rich countryside of south Laois. Starting at the Wooden Bridge Car Park (site of Ireland’s last surviving wooden vehicular bridge, restored in 2023), this easy, flat walk takes you along quiet country roads and through lush farmland filled with native flora and fauna.
