Looking for Culture Night events in Laois? Check out the launch of a brand new piece of artwork in Portlaoise’s Main Street, titled Fragments of Time and Space.
Taking place from 4pm to 5pm on Culture Night, Friday, September 22nd, 2023, this event gives locals and visitors alike the opportunity to find out more about the new sculpture by artist David Beattie. The launch takes place at the sculpture’s new permanent home, outside the library on Main Street.
Culture Night Events in Laois: Fragments of Time and Space Launch
Culture Night, Friday, September 22nd, 2023, sees the official launch of Fragments of Time and Space, a cast terrazzo sculpture and bench created by artist David Beattie. It will take place at its permanent home, outside the Library on Main Street, Portlaoise.
This event invites participants to find out more about the new sculpture. No booking is required, everyone is welcome to come along on the day. The event is just one of dozens of events taking place for Culture Night in County Laois this year.
