Durrow Scarecrow Festival
24th July @ 1:00 pm - 1st August @ 7:00 pm
The community run and nationally renowned Scarecrow Festival is back for 2022! With some of the most creative scarecrows around, entertainment for all the family and a fabulous market it is one not to be missed.
The Durrow Scarecrow Festival is now in its 9th year. Nominated twice for ‘Best Festival’ in the Irish Times Ticket Awards, the festival is fast becoming one of national acclaim. We strive to improve our festival to ensure all our visitors enjoy the events as much as we enjoy providing them.
Every year during the festival planning phase, we listen to and take on board many of our visitor’s ideas on how to improve our events. We understand we need to stay ahead of the times so as to capture the imaginations of both the young and the old and in so doing, we are helping create happy memories of Durrow for years to come.
The Durrow Scarecrow Festival can only happen with the help and support of our sponsors and volunteers and as always we would like to thank them for everything they do. Community based work is successful only if the community itself is on board, and thankfully this has never been in doubt here in Durrow.
