Double Bill: Laura Duff & Aoife Meade
10th September @ 8:00 pm - 11:30 pm€12 – €15
Dunamaise Arts Centre presents a dynamic programme of curated events by our Young Curators, Alannah Murray & Pauline Dunne, running as part of the Dunamaise Autumn Calendar. Kicking off this programme is a Double Bill of live performances by musicians Laura Duff and Aoife Meade.
Laura Duff is an award-winning artist. She was selected as the Paul Clancy Songwriter of the Year at 2015’s Irish Youth Music Awards, and as Circuit Festival’s Music Project Awardee and Arts Council Agility Awardee more recently, in 2021. She was also selected as the recipient of Limerick City and County Council’s Dolores O’Riordan Music Bursary in 2021.
Following her debut EP, “For Your Company”, she released her sophomore EP, “Heavy Summer” in December 2021, another taste of her own brand of charismatic alternative pop.
Aoife Meade is a singer, songwriter, poet and community musician hailing from Laois but nesting in the beautiful city of Limerick. A lover of all things nostalgic.
