Cultural Events in Laois: Leaves Festival 2023
The Leaves Festival 2023 brings the best of Irish writing and music to Co Laois this November. The festival is delighted to welcome Aingeala Flannery as its festival writer in residence. Her book ‘The Amusements’, has been selected as Leaves Festival One-County-One-Book. She will be hosting a writers workshop and a reading during her residency. There will also be music from Ultan Colon, Molly Donnery & Cathal Crowley amongst others.
The Leaves Festival continues to grow from strength to strength and is becoming a firm fixture on the literary circuit. The festival celebrates writing and music in the beautiful setting of various locations across Laois. Leaves is the festival to enjoy contemporary writers, the art of conversation, musicians, film and theatre.
Whether you are an avid reader, music and literature lover or a writer looking for help and inspiration, the leaves festival has something for everyone!
