Astronomy Week Our Place in Space and How we get there?

Join us at Portlaoise Library for a talk by Dermot Gannon. Dermot is a lifelong backyard astronomer and current member of Tullamore Astronomy Society, with special interest in Astronomy and Rockets for Beginners and Space Technology in general. In this presentation, Dermot will look at Earths place in the Solar System, night sky and Space docking sim apps for Beginners, current rockets being launched and will show you how to build your own water powered rocket.
