Albertine In Five Times

Mountmellick Drama Group is delighted to present their production of “Albertine in Five Times” by renowned Quebecois writer, Michel Tremblay and translated by John Van Burek and Bill Glassco. The play centres on Albertine the 70-year-old who interacts with her younger selves at the ages of 30, 40, 50 and 60, dramatizing her interior monologues as she reflects on her life after moving into a retirement home, and whether there were other life choices she could have made to bring her to a different place at a different time.
