Museum & Visitor Centre

Heritage House is a museum & visitor centre located in Abbeyleix, Co. Laois.

The Mulhall Room acts as a gallery space showcasing the finest in local talent and our craft shop sells a selection of original artwork, prints and crafts by local artists, as well as cards, books and products relevant to the locality.

Tea, coffee and confectionery are also available to purchase through the shop, which can be enjoyed in our courtyard overlooking the beautiful on-site wooden playground. It includes a toddler area with sand pit, multi-play area and basket swings. The area for older children includes a climbing frame, zip line, swings, slide and carousel. Picnic benches are also available in the playground.

The exhibition hall and meeting rooms are available to rent for events large and small. Keep an eye on our social media for upcoming events such as workshops art classes and talks!
