Students of QQI level 5 & 6 courses present work in a variety of disciplines including ceramics, textiles, drawing, print and painting. Work explores concepts of memory, childhood objects, identity, gender, landscape and the feminine. An exciting blend of contemporary art from emerging artists working and living locally.

The gallery in Mountmellick library is delighted to host for the month of June the Laois Quilters group exhibition of art quilts. The exhibition will launch on Tuesday 3rd June at 7 p.m. The exhibition will run until 27th June during library opening hours. All are welcome.
The Stradbally community choir launched in September, growing to 100 members. Their first performance on December 23rd was a success, focusing on fun, socialising, and community through music. They have now played at many gigs gathering a great name for themselves everywhere they go. All donations on the night go to the Kolbe centre.
